Golf & Wine Tour in Uruguay
After breakfast, a private vehicle and your guide will pick you up at your hotel to take you to visit one of the most exclusive golf clubs in the country: the Golf Club of Uruguay.
The club is located in the heart of the city of Montevideo, on the seaside that borders the coastal strip of the Río de la Plata, in the residential area of Punta Carretas that is only five minutes from the commercial and financial center of the capital . The location of the court, which borders the coast of the city and the design by Dr. Alister Mackenzie, give it a hierarchical and distinguishing framework that can be observed in very few cities. The greens are wide and most are well protected by bunkers, tree-lined fairways and in some cases narrow, taking several holes out of bounds.
After a few hours of pure fun and enjoyment, enjoy lunch at one of the best restaurants in the city, world-renowned Tandory. Gabriel Coquel, chef and owner will prepare a special menu just for you. Among others, Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones recently dined here during his visit to Montevideo.
In the afternoon, you will visit Bodega Juanico, where the winemakers themselves will have you discover the winery's best bottles. To round off the day, we propose a vertical tasting of the wine of your choice from a selection based on your personal taste. Our recommendation: try Tannat, our flagship grape.
