Alpasión is located in the beautiful Uco Valley and our vineyards stretch to the base of the Andes Mountains. In addition to offering breathtaking mountain views the region is known for the production of top quality wines. While we are one of the youngest wineries in the Uco Valley we are proud to call many famous, world-renowned wine producers our neighbours.
Alpasión is a highly personal and hands-on project that was started by a group of friends (over a few too many bottles!) driven by a passion to produce top quality wines. In fact, the labels of our flagship wines carry the signatures and fingerprints of all the owners to convey our committment to producing wines of which we can be proud.
For us that means a deep belief in the importance of terroir and making wines that are a true reflection of the soil’s unique identity. It’s all about honouring the natural process of winemaking, about listening to and responding to nature’s messages in order to make wines that are an honest reflection of what’s been given to us.
Terroir is so central to our work in the vineyard that we performed a thorough soil study before planting to make sure we make the most out of the soil’s natural composition and diversity. Our goal from the very beginning has been to ensure our resulting wines are the best expression of the land they come from.
We are pleased to be able to say that our focus on quality has been noticed. Our wines have received top ratings and awards from leading wine publications including Robert Parker, Wine Enthusiast and Decanter.

At Alpasión quality extends beyond our wines and vineyard to our luxury lodge and restaurant, which offer guests a true home away from home when visiting the Mendoza region.
Our six-room lodge is intimate and welcoming, and boasts absolutely stunning views of the Andes Mountains. Each room is unique and styled to represent one of the six natural elements: earth, water, wood, air, metal and fire. The lodge also features a wine cellar, outdoor pool and hot tub, library, private gardens and a rooftop terrace. It’s a truly special place that we look forward to sharing with our guests. Alpasión Restaurant is a highlight of our property and has proven to be one of the many reasons guests return to us. The restaurant features traditional Argentine cuisine with a gourmet touch. The vegetables and herbs come from our own garden and remaining ingredients are sourced locally. All dishes pair nicely with our own wines, as well as a selection of other wines from the region. The cozy setting offers outdoor mountain-view dining on beautiful warm days and indoor fireside dining on cooler nights.
At Alpasión our reason for being is to make quality wines we can share with each other as friends. We believe it is this essence – this goal – that has allowed us to grow from an idea shared over a few bottles of wine into a “project not to lose sight of” according to Argentina’s La Nacion newspaper. We look forward to sharing our wines with others as something to be enjoyed with their friends.
