Dijon Walking Tour Followed by Lunch

In the 14th century it was here that the Valois Dukes of Burgundy founded one of the most brilliant courts in Europe. Dijon then became the seat of the order of the Golden Fleece. From the Renaissance onwards, the townhouses of the Nobles of the Robe reshaped this “city of a hundred towers”.

Discover the medieval streets lined with half-timbered houses and their characteristic multi coloured roofs; the elegant church of Notre-Dame (magnificent example of the Burgundian Gothic style) and its good-luck owl, the sumptuous ducal residence.

At the end of the tour, you will enjoy lunch at a local bistro in the heart of the city.

Highlights:

  • Discover the ancient streets and architecture of Dijon
  • Enjoy a local meal paired with delicious Burgundy wines
