Villa Sandi is an icon of the Prosecco region, where you will enjoy a complete wine experience including history, art, terroir, landscape, wine and food.

Villa Sandi is a Palladian style masterpiece dating back to 1622, right at the heart of the Province of Treviso. Its elegance is a link between the magnificence of Venice and the countryside, known as “Garden of Venice”. The Villa houses the family winery, run by Giancarlo Moretti Polegat whose estates encompass the entire Prosecco area.

The land close to the Villa is dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for the Villa Sandi Premium wines and Classical Method Sparkling Opere Trevigiane, all aged in the three century-old underground cellars stretching for over 1,5 km under the Villa.

After your visit and tasting, settle in to your room for the night at Locanda Sandi in Valdobbiadene, a typical colonial house of the Veneto region from the early 20th century. The building has been restored with materials from ancient mansions, giving a unique blend of refined and rustic Italian style.

Here, you will be served a dinner of typical Venetian cuisine providing a complete wine and food experience.

Highlights

  • Visit to the winery, underground cellars and the seventeenth-century Villa Sandi
  • A discovery of Prosecco
  • Dinner and night at Locanda Sandi

Day 3: Discover Verona

Today, you will travel to Verona, driving by some of the magnificent noble villas dating back to the XVI century, located in the hills that surround the city.

After a light lunch in the city, your private guide will introduce you to Verona.  You will fall in love with this romantic city, with its ancient Roman Amphitheatre and, of course, “Juliet’s balcony”.

Stay overnight in the city and enjoy a gastronomic dinner of the typical cuisine of the region.

  • An intimate introduction to Verona and the outlying countryside
  • A visit to Juliet’s balcony -from Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet”
  • A food and wine matching dinner in a traditional restaurant of the city
