Day 1: San Sebastian

Day 2: Rioja

The tour continues to Rioja, Spain’s most popular wine region. It’s time to relax and discover great wines. Some of them are still produced in underground cellars built in the XVI century; others in big facilities with innovative and modern technology, and others in centenary wineries founded when French producers arrived in Rioja at the end of the XIX century. Discover these different methods to elaborate the famous wine of Rioja.

Day 3: Cantabria

The landscape will change en route to Asturias. High, green mountains rest on the cliffs that will accompany us along the coast of Cantabria. It’s time to visit the medieval village of Santillana del Mar, probably the best place to enjoy the famous Cocido Montañés, in an old palace located in the center of the village. After replenishing forces, we will arrive in Asturias, where a fabulous surprise awaits: the secrets of local cheese cured in caves. One of the producers will reveal you those secrets.
