Day 1: Upon arrival at the hotel, relax and enjoy a light lunch.

In the afternoon enjoy a private visit to the spectacular Underground Wine Cathedrals and delight your palate with a sparkling wine tasting in the cellar.

Return to the hotel for a welcome gourmet dinner at the restaurant.

Day 2: After breakfast, move to Cherasco. Walk at leisure in the beautiful old hamlet's center before visiting Bra, the townhome of the Slow Food Movement: take your time to visit the city and the Slow Food headquarters with its shop and the famous Boccondivino restaurant, and learn more about this worldwide recognized cultural and food movement.

Later in the afternoon visit Alba, the capital of the Langhe region, and wander at leisure in the city center before stopping in a local historical osteria for a nice dinner with “salsiccia di Bra” (veal sausage), “vitello tonnato” (vealed tuna) and a superb “panna cotta” (cooked cream) as dessert. Then, return to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: After breakfast join a friendly local chef for an amazing challenge of your culinary abilities, preparing the simple traditional recipes that better match with truffles, from “tajarin” (fresh eggs pasta) to raw meat or cheese fondue, and enjoy a convivial lunch with the chef.

In the afternoon meet the truffle hunter and his faithful dog and start an emotional truffle hunting in the woods; celebrate the successful hunt with a wine tasting in a renowned award-winning winery accompanied by truffle-based appetizers.

Return to the hotel for a truffle-based dinner.

Day 4: Visit the ancient hamlet of Pollenzo for a private tour and wine tasting in the Wine Bank, not a simple cellar but a unique reality in the world, created by Slow Food.

Then, continue the itinerary along the Barolo wine route and stop in La Morra for a spectacular 360 degrees view over the region. Visit an artisanal “pasticceria” and love the typical artisanal sweet specialties as “paste di meliga” or “baci di dama”.

Enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant with Langhe hills view and visit at leisure to the hamlets or wineries before returning to the hotel to relax and dine.
