WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

Are you perplexed by Burgundy’s myriad of regions, villages and wines? Join us on the Climats Experience and let our sommeliers unmask the mysteries for you. Starting with the history of the region, Pommard and Château de Pommard, you will begin to unravel how this region first came to be and what makes it so special today. You will learn how 150 million years of geological change have sculpted the diverse terroirs of the Côte d’Or and how thousands of years of winemaking have resulted in the famed savoir faire of Burgundy’s winemakers. The next time you are presented with a bottle of Burgundy wine, you will be able to impress your friends and colleagues with what it all means and how to correctly taste these elegant wines.

WHAT YOU WILL TASTE:

The Climats Experience finishes in one of our private tasting rooms where you will learn how to taste wine the right way by sampling 4 Burgundy appellations.

Tasting List:

  • 1 Côte de Beaune, Chardonnay
  • 2 Vintages of Côte de Nuits, Pinot Noir
  • 1 Vintage of Clos Marey-Monge
