Discover the beautiful city of Porto in this incredible wine tasting tour. The city of Porto is the second largest city in Portugal following the capital of Lisbon. The stunning city of Porto is located along the estuary of Douro. It is just an hour away from the incredible wine region of Douro Valley.

The historical core of the city of Porto was declared a World Hertigae Site by UNESCO in 1996. Among the architectural highlights of the city, Porto Cathedral is the oldest surviving structure, together with the small romanesque Church of Cedofeita, the gothic Igreja de São Francisco (Church of Saint Francis), the remnants of the city walls and a few 15th-century houses. The baroque style is well represented in the city in the elaborate gilt work interior decoration of the churches of St. Francis and St. Claire (Santa Clara), the churches of Mercy (Misericórida) and of the Clerics (Igreja dos Clérigos), the Episcopal Palace of Porto, and others.

The archaeic monuments and the stunning architecture will leave you awe-struck on your exclusive wine tour in Porto. The cellars of Port wine are located just along the river estaury. The bank famously goes by the name, Vila Nova de Gaia. The ancient port wine cellars stand tall and proud along these banks ageing the stored port wine in age-old wooden casks.
