Spend the day exploring the exclusive world of this exceptional Cognac!
Cognac is a variety of brandy named after its namesake town in France. It is produced in the surrounding wine-growing region in the departments of Charente and Charente-Maritime, a short 2-hour drive away from Bordeaux, its famous neighboring wine region.
Craftmanship at its best
First made in 1874, Louis XIII Cognac is an exquisite blend of up to 1,200 grapes eaux-de-vie sourced 100% from Grande Champagne, the first cru of the Cognac region. Each eau-de-vie is matured slowly in oak casks, and each numbered decanter is designed after an original 16th century metal flask discovered on the site of the battle of Jarnac. These beautiful and easily recognizable decanters have been made from fine crystal for generations, mouth-blown by some of the most skilled master craftsmen... These are just some of the reasons that make the legendary Louis XIII one of the finest Cognacs in the world.
