Franschhoek is called the French corner of South Africa. It is a small town in the Western Cape Province of the country and is one of the oldest towns in South Africa. Franschhoek is situated just 75kms from the city of Cape Town. In the last decade Franschhoek became a part of Stellenbosch and today, along with paarl they form the boggest wine growing region in South Africa called the Cape Winelands.
