The beautiful vineyards of Navarra

Explore the amazing wineries of Navarra and wander around some of the most beautiful vineyards in Spain

A region with an old wine tradition, next to the famous Rioja, Navarre has today surprised the world with some very high quality red and white wines, which have a great reputation among the great wine connoisseurs of Spain.

Navarra has only one designation of origin - D.O. Navarre, which covers the entire southern half of the Spanish region. In addition, due to the great variety of micro-climates and soils found in the region, the wineries in Navarra are a part of these 5 sub-regions: Lower Northeast, Upper Ribera, Tierra Estella, Valdizarbe and Lower Ribera.

The Spanish region attracts the attention of experts and lovers of the world of wine, especially with the high quality specimens produced from the Merlot grape and Cabernet Sauvignon. The most recent success of Navarre is the red, concentrated and fruity wines, elaborated with the Tempranillo variety, motivating numerous producers to increase the cultivation of this variety. Traditionally, Navarra is also associated with rosé wines, where the best are made from the Garnacha grape. These rosés often have a dry and fruity style, harmonizing well with the local cuisine.
