It all begins in our vineyards...

At Alpasión we like to invite our guests to take a walk through our vineyards before doing a tasting to get a feel for the land and gain a better appreciation of where our wines come from. Tastings can then be enjoyed while looking out over the vineyards towards the majestic Andes Mountains.

Theme : Visits & Tastings Duration : From 1 to 3 hours Groups : Yes

At Alpasión our goal is to make honest and iconic top quality wines – wines meant to be enjoyed with friends. We are pleased to be able to say that our focus on quality has been noticed. Our wines have received top ratings and awards from leading wine publications including Robert Parker, Wine Enthusiast and Decanter.

Today, we are honoured to be able to share our wines with the rest of the world and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

All wines in our portfolio are available for tasting:

Alpasión Private Selection

This is still our highest end wine, which is aged for 18 months in French Bordeaux style barrels. Private Selection is a Malbec blend that changes every year depending on the best grapes available from the harvest. The 2013 blend, which is 80% Malbec, 15% Syrah and 5% Petit Verdot, is a powerful, full-bodied wine with complex aromas and sweet flavors of ripe plums and blackberries.

Alpasión Grand Malbec

This is an iconic oak aged Malbec and our flagship wine. Aged in French Bordeaux style barrels for 12 months, this wine is ripe, bold, full-bodied and fruit forward with hints of cocoa and vanilla.

Alpasión Grand Cabernet Franc

This is a relatively new wine in our portfolio. Aged in French Bordeaux style barrels for 12 months, this wine is our innovative take on the Cabernet Franc trend coming out of Argentina right now.

Alpasión Malbec

This is our iconic un-oaked Malbec. While it is subtler than our oaked Grand Malbec it is the purest expression of our terroir.

WhataboutMe? Malbec

This is our entry level Malbec. It is the perfect every day red: light, fruity and easy-to-drink. It pairs perfectly with a salad or salmon but it can also standup to a piece of red meat.

WhataboutMe? Sauvignon Blanc

Currently the only white wine in our portfolio this Sauvignon Blanc is light, fresh, crisp and easy to drink. A great value wine.
