Day 1: Barcelona
After your arrival and check-in into your luxurious hotel, you will start your day with a visit of the historical centre of the city of Barcelona: The Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral, the medieval streets, the Ramblas, and of course, the true heart of the city - the Born and the Santa Maria del Mar Church.
You will enjoy and exclusive and authentic tapas and wine lunch. After lunch, you will continue your sightseeing tour of the city by visiting its main neighbourhoods and monuments. You could also choose to have dinner at a restaurant on the harbour.
Day 2: Day Tour to Tarragona and Priorat
On this day, your tour will take you to the region of Tarragona. Here you will visit the Monastery of Santa Maria de Santes Creus, a Cistercian XII century building and the only monastery of the Cistercian Route without monastic life! From there you will make your way for an exclusive visit and tasting to Bodegas Torres or a famous Cava producer for a wine experience. You will learn about the wines of the region and take part in an exclusive guided wine-tasting session. After the visit, you will make your way back to Barcelona.
Day 3: Antoni Gaudí and La Boquería
On this day, your tour will take you to all the famous monuments of the city designed by the great artist and architect Antoni Gaudí. You will visit the Temple of Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, La Pedrera and Casa Batlló on Paseo de Gracia, and many more.
From here, you will make your way to the most famous market place in Barcelona, La Boquería, to better understand the local food culture. Here, you will taste the different delicacies of the region and enjoy some fine wines to go with them.
Day 4: Wine Visits in Penedès
After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for the scenic Penedès region. A few minutes away from Barcelona, you will be transported to a wine haven located amongst scenic vineyards. Here, you will visit two famous wineries, where you will enjoy a private guided tour of the cellars followed by a wine tasting. You can choose to have lunch in the vineyards or in a restaurant nearby to discover the local gourmet cuisine and its harmony with the regional wines.
Day 5: Explore Madrid
From Barcelona, you will transfer to another one of Spain’s iconic cities, this time the capital, Madrid. Here once you have settled in your hotel, you will leave to explore the very best the city offers. You will take a walking tour of Madrid’s history to discover some of the most emblematic places of the city: Medieval Madrid, the city in the XIX century, the Madrid of Austria and Borbon dynasties. In the afternoon, you will be guided through the Prado Museum or the Reina Sofia Museum, accompanied by an expert.
You will be treated to a beautiful dinner of tapas at a local tavern.
Day 6: Day Tour to Valencia
For this day, you will take a trip to Valencia. Here you will be guided on a tour of the most important monuments, including the Cathedral and the impressive Plaça de l’Ajuntament (Town Hall Square). You will spend the afternoon on a leisurely walking tour of the old town, where you will visit the Silk Art School and Fallas Museum. You can choose to have an authentic Valencian paella dinner with fine local wines.
Day 7: Epicurean Tour of Madrid
On the last day of the tour, you will enjoy a guided excursion along some of the famous places of the city: the Muslim Mayarit, old guard of defence, the Madrid Court, birthplace of numerous noble families, and the splendour of the city as capital of the Empire. You may also choose to take the sightseeing tour by bus to discover its main attractions. In the afternoon you can visit the popular football club of Madrid for a Real Madrid Experience.

You may visit the Mercado de San Miguel under the roof of Madrid’s oldest market offering stunning delicatessen products. If you’d like to end the afternoon with a glass of wine, you may be tempted to indulge at Madrid’s leading wine store where you can choose a glass from an impressive variety of reds and whites from wine regions all over Spain.
