Inspired by this friendly event and the refined setting of our countryside estate, we are delighted to welcome visitors to a stylish buffet in the heart of the vines. The harvest begins in late August with the picking of the white grapes and continues until October with the reds, representing the culmination of a year's worth of efforts at the estate.
Up to 100 pickers set to work in the vines surrounding the Château, while a dozen others meticulously sort the grapes in the cellar. Come and discover an insider's glimpse of our teams at work! Start your visit with a guided tour of the vat rooms and 1,000-barrel underground cellar before making your way over to the Harvest Feast.
The communal table or "La Tablée des Vendanges" will be laid at the foot of Jim Dine's "Venus" sculpture, on one of our oldest Cabernet Sauvignon plots.
From this privileged viewpoint, soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the pickers in action while enjoying a fine lunch accompanied by wines made from the estate's young vines.
The menu offers a medley of refined picnic treats including autumnal canapés and roast beef cut by the Chef with seasonal vegetables, followed by a selection of French aged cheeses. Finally, indulge in an array of sweet treats – the perfect way to end your visit to the estate.
