We will start our day in the appellation of Palette one of the smallest appellations in France. Situated just to the South West of Aix en Provence, the reds produced here are quite intense and the whites really stand out. Our next stop will be in one of the best kept secrets of the region, all will be revealed on the day!
Our journey continues to the Haut Var region where the Coteaux Varois appellation is situated, the area is also known as La Provence Verte, due to the abundance of water here.
This is potentially one of the most exciting wine regions in Provence and thanks to some serious investment and great respect for the wisdom of the elders (often brushed aside by the new generation), the true potential of this region is being revealed.
We will enjoy at least two tastings in this fantastic region where we have a long list of possibilities. Stunning Chateaux, ultramodern wineries, the first Organic village in France and an inventivity that is refreshing and exciting.
