Morning: Your driver-guide will pick you up at your accomodation and drive you towards the southern Burgundy wine region of the Mâconnais (about 1h). A first stop at the foot of the Solutré rock will immediately immerse you in the atypical atmosphere of this wine-growing territory. A grandiose landscape dominated by monumental rocks and hills with wooded peaks that produce powerful and aromatic wines.
You will push the door of a local wine estate where vou will be welcomed by the winemaker, and you will taste the famous Pouilly-fuisse and the Saint-Véran. After this nice start to your day, you will have lunch in a local restaurant. Afternoon: You will discover another winery. You will certainly be surprised to discover how vines on the same soil, in the same geographical area, can produce such different wines. The beautiful appellations of the Mâconnais area will seduce you and make you want to come back!
