Discover the waterways of the Alsace region of France

Day 1 - Sparkling Strasbourg

Arrive in Strasbourg and immediately take to the water with a boat trip on the Ill River through the centre of this historical city.

Once settled into your hotel, stroll through the centre of the city to visit the cathedral and the heart of the city.

This evening, enjoy a candle light dinner in a traditional restaurant near the water where a special menu will be designed to accompany a range of the sparkling Crémant wines of the region.

Day 2 - The Alsace wine route

Head South on the oldest wine route in France, through vineyard-covered foothills to Eguisheim with its half-timbered houses, one of the most beautiful Alsace villages. Visit and taste the wines at a vineyard along the wine route.

This evening, choose one from one of the picturesque villages of Rhiqewihr, Hunawihr or Mittelwihr and stay in a traditional tavern. Wander through the village before dining tonight in a cosy winstub (a typical Alsatian restaurant).

Day 3 - The Alsace vineyards and Colmar

This morning you will visit the Joseph Cattin winery where you will discover breath-taking views from the vineyard over the Alsace vineyards, the Vosges Mountains, the Alsace Plain and the Black Forest.

After your walk though the vines enjoy a food and wine tasting with a range of wines and traditional Alsatian Specialities. You will then head back to Colmar for your last evening.

This afternoon you will discover the beautiful Little Venice area of Colmar before your final candle lit dinner, again on the waterfront. The perfect end to a romantic discovery of one of the most beautiful wine regions of the world.
