Starting from your hotel in the center of Bordeaux, let your private English-speaking guide driver take you to the house of Cognac Frapin, an exclusive spirit place.

King Louis XIV gives his apothecary Pierre Frapin a coat of arms. The Frapin family coat of arms is therefore created, one can observe the fleur-de-lys symbolizing the king as well as two trees, lepidodendrons, symbol of the apothecaries.

Dive into the heart of the vineyards located in Grande Champagne then visit the distillery and the cellars (from the cellars to the attics). Then return to Segonzac to discover the museum, the Eiffel cellar and the "Chai Paradis"... Discover an ancestral know-how that is reinventing itself, a skillful gearing of secular gestures and modern techniques that converge to satisfy the passion of the House for exceptional cognacs. The visit ends with the tasting of 4 cognacs with local snacks.

Then, enjoy a vineyard tour of a familial distillery and its cellar in Chadenac, followed by a lunch around fish & cognac pairings. Lunch prepared by a "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" Poissonier-écailler, an exclusive gourmet experience.

In the late afternoon, back to Bordeaux.
