For the first days, your accommodation will be in a luxury historic castle on Lake Maggiore: enjoy your full-day golf at Castelconturbia Golf Club and relax overlooking the calm water, reach your private boat for a marvelous tour in the Borromean Islands of the lake, enjoy a lunch in the garden or a wine tasting in the castle’s cellar.
Then, move to your charming Relais immersed in a huge natural park, near the city center of Turin. From here, you will be able to reach the golf courses of Turin La Mandria and Royal Park I Roveri (host of the next Italian Open) and the several food&wine activities that we will organize for you in the area: a city sightseeing private guided tour, a chocolate tasting paired with Barolo Chinato or a dinner in a historical restaurant.
The heart of the holiday will be a full wine-day in the nearest Langhe region, with an itinerary among the wine route of Barolo and Barbaresco: visits two of the most awarded and prestigious wineries, with their top wines tasting, have lunch in a typical restaurant immersed in the vineyards exploring the traditional Piedmontese cuisine (from eggs hand-made pasta to truffle, beef braised with wine, peppers with anchovy cream, roasted rabbit with olives and delightful dessert based on local hazelnuts). Don’t miss a visit to the Wine Bank, unique in the world and created by Slow Food to preserve to the national production of top wines for posterity.
End your journey along the Lake Orta shores, with a special dinner in a Michelin-starred restaurant and a stay within the Moorish architecture of a marvelous villa surrounded by a park. The Golf Club Le Betulle was awarded 18 times the “Best Italian Course” prize and it has been considered one of the best courses in the world, both by the domestic and the international press, so you will have the chance to test your ability, no matter what your HCP is.
