Montalto Vineyard & Olive Grove offers visitors a breadth of different experiences from tasting our Estate Wines, Cellar Door, Piazza Café & Fine Dining Restaurant to private picnics, experience and our Sculpture exhibition.
Cellar Door
Visitors can taste wine in the intimate rammed earth cellar door. With experienced cellar door staff who are passionate about wine, having worked in both vineyard and winery as well as cellar door. Within the Cellar Door is the Montalto Private Wine Room, an intimate setting with sweeping views of the Estate where guests can opt for a premium tasting experience of back vintage wines whilst overlooking the estate.
Piazza Cafe
The Piazza Café is the most casual of Montalto’s dining options. The Cafe offers a comfortable all weather space that maintains a connection to the gardens and property. Visitors can drop in and grab a table overlooking the breathtaking views – either in the stylish, covered courtyard or amongst the lush kitchen gardens.
Restaurant
The relaxed elegance of the Montalto Restaurant is set in a striking and harmonious landscape building featuring rammed earth walls, timber frames and rough-hewn floor boards to blur the edges of inside and out. Floor to ceiling windows take advantage of the breathtaking rural outlook of vines, olive groves and sculptures, leading down to picturesque lakes and wetlands, with pasture, and a hint of the ocean as the backdrop.
The Montalto Restaurant is imbued with a provincial spirit, from a personal greeting at the front door to the food on the plate.
