The Vat Room

At the cutting edge of technology, the 70 meters long monumental gravity-feed vat cellar was inaugurated in 2013. Built on two levels linked by elegant metal pillars in a harmonious marriage of wood and steel, it remains true to the Mouton tradition of oak vats.

The Great Barrel Hall

Built in 1926, this spectacular 100-meter-long avant-garde building constitutes an architectural masterpiece and makes an immediate impression on visitors.

The Museum of Wine in Art

Designed by Baron Philippe, the Museum contains a collection of precious objects from all ages associated with the vine and wine. It houses a collection of rare items of the 17th century including antiques, medieval tapestries, paintings, ivories, glassware, Chinese, Japanese and Persian porcelain, among other unique objects.

The "Paintings for the Labels" Exhibition

As of 1945, each year the label for the vintage has been illustrated with the reproduction of an original artwork specially created for Mouton Rothschild by a contemporary artist. This tradition has become the visual hallmark of the Château.

This fascinating collection - to which a new work is added each year - brings together the most famous artists, from Miro to Chagall, Picasso, Keith Haring or Jeff Koons. It is now in residence in a dedicated gallery open to the public.
