Feudi del Pisciotto winery is located at the very heart of Sicily, just a few kilometers from Caltagirone and Piazza Armerina. The winery includes a new and modern building, the very core of production, and an ancient feud. The feud dates back to the Eighteenth century and at the time it was one of the largest in Sicily. The old building includes the Palmento, from the Latin word “paumentum”, which conjures up the movement of the grape press by force of gravity, considered today as a best technique. Restored, keeping the original element untouched, the Palmento is directly connected to the modern cellar.
The tasting room offers a view of the barrel room through a spectacular transparent glass floor, It is possible to taste the wide Feudi del Pisciotto’s wine range, starting from the award-winning Grandi Stilisti collection with labels designed by top Italian fashion designers, such as Versace, Missoni, Blumarine or Alberta Ferretti, ending with the new sparkling rosé Davolarosa made with Nero d’Avola.
