Il Falconiere & Spa is a 5 stars hotel, 1-Michelin-star restaurant and spa in the Etruscan town of Cortona, in Tuscany. It is in a converted, ancient 17th century villa, owned and managed by the Baracchi Family.

Our restaurant is well-known for its beautiful panoramic views overlooking the Tuscan hills, as well as being the only Michelin-star restaurant in the Arezzo area. The cuisine is renowned for its high-quality ingredients, its respect of seasonality, and the use of as many locally produced ingredients as possible.The restaurant is also known for its wide selection of wines, including those from Baracchi wine production.

The Thesan Spa offers exclusive treatments, from wellness circuits to wine terapy. The facilities include a sauna, a steam room and a hydro massage pool. Respecting its Tuscan origins, the spa also offers olive oil treatments, as olive trees have always had an exclusive role in Tuscan traditions.

The hotel provides 34 rooms, all beautifully decorated in a typical Tuscan style, to suit all needs. Each room has been individually decorated by local Tuscan artists. Most rooms are found in the main house, near a little chapel and the spa, and there are some cottages for more privacy.

Cooking class under the Tuscan sun, wine tours and tastings to discover the vineyards, the philosophy of production and winemaking techniques, are some of the experiences we offer our guests. Riccardo and Benedetto Baracchi accompany the guests on the tour, in a true show of Tuscan hospitality. Guests can also enjoy falconry, yoga, hunting, golf, mountain biking, trekking and riding during their stay.
