Nestling in the beauty of Glen Clova, Heath Loch is gin clear and easily accessed from the bank side. This is a place where you can breathe in the space, pure air and enjoy the majesty of the Cairngorms National park, the last true wilderness in Scotland. The loch is surrounded by birch trees and heather moorland, it’s not uncommon to see deer wandering around the loch or the Osprey soaring overhead, looking for a trout to take back to the nest. Loch Heath is a short drive from the hotel, so it’s easy to nip back for a delicious lunch by a log fire.
The team of fishing guides are either Scottish International fly fishers or qualified SGAIC casing instructors and the fishing partner we use are endorsed by Orvis - one of the world’s biggest fly fishing companies.
