Day 1: Santiago

Upon arrival at Santiago´s airport, you are welcomed and transferred to your hotel to freshen up. You spend the early afternoon on an easy walk through Santiago, its traditional and modern districts set against the scenic backdrop of the Andes. You walk to the historic center, its Plaza de Armas and Cathedral, and a few steps up to enjoy sweeping views of the city from Santa Lucia Hill. You will round off this gourmet experience with a wine tasting paired with tapas at Bocanariz, Santiago's most renowned wine bar. Evening at leisure, or explore Santiago's varied dining options.

Day 2: Santiago to Colchagua

This morning we will go to Colchagua Valley, stop for a visit at Casa Silva, a very Traditional Winery. Enjoy lunch by the Polo Fields and horse training tracks. In the afternoon you continue to Santa Cruz for check in at the wine lodge. The rest of the day is yours to relax or enjoy the pool.

Day 3: Colchagua Valley

Morning visit to the elegant Montgras Winery, well known for their treatment of the indigenous Carmenere, the iconic grape of Chile. Then it is on to Laura Hartwig Winery. The Hartwig family takes great care to master their terroir - making soil, climate and grape work together in richer harmony. The vineyard's Cabernet Sauvignons are full of lavish spice and berry flavors, with pleasant touches of vanilla and chocolate. From here you will walk the vineyards to Vino Bello Restaurant to enjoy lunch a la carte. Afternoon return to the hotel and relax away.

Day 4: Colchagua Valley

This morning we drive to Colchagua Valley, and into the narrow Apalta Valley, perhaps the most prestigious wine region within Chile, where you’ll taste highly rated premium wines at Casa Lapostolle. Then we continue to Montes winery to enjoy lunch at its restaurant, Fuegos de Apalta by Francis Mallmann, first non-European Chef to win the Grand Prix del ‘Art et de la Science de la Cuisine. You relax over lunch and taste earthy wines from this winery. In the afternoon check in at the hotel and relax away.

Day 5: Transfer to Santiago airport

After breakfast, transfer of choice:

1) centric Santiago ( post trip extensions)

2) International Airport,to board connecting flights.
