You will start the morning with a stop at Joseph Drouhin (6mins walk from your hotel).

With 73 hectares, Domaine Joseph Drouhin is one of the largest in the region. It is distributed throughout Burgundy: Chablis (38 hectares), Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, (32 hectares), Côte Chalonnaise (3 hectares), and includes a majority of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus, planted two Burgundy grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The estate has grown over time through judicious acquisitions and family agreements. Some plots are among the most famous vineyards of Burgundy, such as Clos des Mouches, Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche, Musigny, Clos de Vougeot or Corton-Charlemagne, etc.Located right in the heart of Beaune, the cellars of Joseph Drouhin cover approximately 1 hectare under the streets of the medieval town & have belonged in the part to the Dukes of Burgundy & the Kings of France. As you walk through the cellars you will discover the roman remains that are nearly 2000 years old. The visit will end with a tasting of 6 emblematic wines including the Clos des Mouches.

You will then walk across the town to the Maison Bouchard (10mins walk).
