Morning: You will take the road to the legendary Hermitage wine area. Grown on the left bank of the Rhône river on a very specific terroir, ideally located on a bend along the river and blessed with an ideal year round climate, you will discover wines which are enduringly amongst France's most prestigious. You'll get to taste long lived and full bodied reds and whites full of intricate fruit flavours and impressive aromas. Enjoy a delightful tasting in a local winery with a chocolate pairing to discover who these two beautiful products compliment each other.
This will be followed by lunch in a local restaurant, selected by us.
Afternoon: You will first visit the Valrhona chocolate museum where you will learn about the chocolate making. A magical experience where you can explore, smell and taste chocolate! You will then drive to the top of Hermitage hill to enjoy a magnificent view of the vineyards and the Rhône Valley.
Your guide will tell you the legend of this wine and the impressive hillside. Enjoy another glass of wine and some square of chocolate in this impressive view to finish the day in beauty.
