DAY 1:
Your first stop will be at the cutting edge Icario winery where you will be treated to the Prestige Experience; a tailored visit under the guidance of a sommelier which includes cellar tour, tasting of two older vintages, an Icario gift and a delicious 3-course lunch on the terrace. Take some time after lunch to enjoy Icario’s in-house art exhibition in their stunning glass-bottomed gallery space with view over the cellar.
You will be given time to discover the nearby town of Montepulciano and experience its rich Etruscan history before being brought to your home for the night, Villa San Sanino. At San Sanino, cool off in the infinity pool before dinner at La Limonaia – San Sanino’s rustic restaurant where only the best local products are used to create simple dishes according to the Tuscan tradition.
Day 2:
Spend day two relaxing at San Sanino. Enjoy a wellness treatment at the spa or learn how to create authentic Tuscan dishes with an in-house cooking lesson.
Day 3:
After a second night’s rest in your elegant suite, start the day with a superb freshly prepared breakfast before travelling to Avignonesi winery – 175 hectares of biodynamic viticulture excellence. Choose from a range of activities at Avignonesi for a truly unforgettable day among the vines. There is something for everyone at Avignonesi with options ranging from wine-tasting to Hot Air balloon rides, falconry or even a spin through the Tuscan countryside in a Ferrari.
