On one of our exclusive Tuscany bike tours, your adventure begins in Chianti Classico by meeting your personal guide for an enchanting day cycling through the hills of Chianti passing vineyards, villas and sunflower fields. Take in the sights, smells and sounds before sitting down for a special lunch discovering some authentic Tuscan dishes amongst the Florentine hills while cycling through Tuscany.
Visit a charming 12th century medieval castle, which is home to a Count and Countess, and pedal on to your next stop, an exclusive Chianti winery rated highly by the most influential European and American wine publications. Your tour through the winery begins with a guided tour, led by an English-speaking winery expert, of the historic estate's wine cantina and cellars. The winery guide will introduce you to the world of wine and winemaking, to its history and legends. A guided tasting of the winery's Chianti Classico and other local wines follows.
In addition to the wines, you will have the chance to taste some freshly-produced authentic Tuscan extra-virgin olive oil.
Your next stop will be at a small, lively Chianti village, either Greve, Radda or Castellina in Chianti, before you cycle back to your accommodation to end your Tuscany cycling holiday.
