Private Tour and Tasting

A private tour and tasting takes visitors behind the scenes of the historic Cullen winery. Our staff guide you through the philosophy and history of Cullen Wines, introduce you to biodynamic practices and discuss the features of the beautiful Wilyabrup and Margaret River region.

Walk through our oldest vines and discover how water free form and cows’ horns are used to promote the health of the soil and the vines. Wander through the biodynamic gardens and explore the vegetables, herbs and Australian bush tucker that furnish our restaurant and learn about our winemaking practices and ethos.

Following the tour, enjoy a private tasting of some of Cullen’s most famous wines, including both the latest releases and rare back vintages of our two flagships; the Diana Madeline (Cabernet Sauvignon blend) and the Kevin John (Chardonnay).

These two wines receive consistently high ratings year after year. The Diana Madeline sits in the exclusive Langton’s classification of ‘Exceptional’ and the 2007 Kevin John was named by Decanter Wine Awards in 2010 as ‘the Best Chardonnay in the World’. In 2015 and 2016, the Diana Madeline was named ‘Best Other Red’ by esteemed reviewer James Halliday, and in 2017, the Kevin John was listed ‘Best Chardonnay’ by Tyson Stelzer.

Our staff will make guest feel welcome and take them through the private tasting step by step.

It will be an experience that will stay with you long after you leave our winery.
