Consisting of günz gravel, Smith Haut Lafitte’s terroir has two astonishing features: superb natural drainage forcing the vine roots to sink deep into the soil in order to find nourishment, and a “mirror effect” of the sun’s rays reflected by the gravelly soil. On this tour you will be visiting the vineyards, the cellars and then take part in a tasting of some of our most prestigious vintages.
