Poggio Rosso is the gourmet restaurant of the hamlet, intimate and sought after. Under the guidance of executive chef Fabrizio Borraccino, a young talent from Abruzzo with training enriched by his significant experience on national and international levels – years spent alongside multi Michelin starred chefs like Antonio Guida, France’s Pierre Gagnaire and Britain’s Gordon Ramsay.
Borraccino guides his brigade with character and passion, bringing to his dishes a noted equilibrium, the capacity to balance technique, creativity, and practicality, resulting in naturally born flavors without excess of indulgence or abandonment of character. A respectful kitchen exalting culture dedicated to the research of simplicity. Everything is made using ingredients of optimal quality, favoring local and seasonal products and drawing whenever possible from the estate's Orto Felice, the communal gardens tended by elderly residents of the area and youth with disabilities. The lightness of the resulting dishes and the apparent simplicity gratify and surprise even the most discerning of palates.
The wine list is anchored by the estates production, with several labels bearing the impressive research and experimentation of Agricola San Felice, from “Vigorello” to “Poggio Rosso” to “Campogiovanni Brunello di Montalcino DOCG”. National and international labels that expand and deepen the food and wine experience of Borgo San Felice complement the selection.
