Enjoy a morning ride through Colonial Chacras de Coria and the endless vineyards of Lujan de Cuyo, to a tasting experience at Susana Balbo's family vineyards. We top our adventure with a multi-course lunch of fresh ingredients at Terrazas de los Andes Wines.
At the foothill of the Andes, lies the province of Mendoza, Argentina's quintessential wine-making region (and the country's largest). Come discover it with us on a Mendoza wine bike tour!
Mendoza is known as "the land of sun and good wines" and this is 100% true. The province gets 2,871 hours of sunshine per year, which makes it perfect for outdoor activities such as biking or walking in the vineyards. Hence, bike tours in Mendoza wineries is a must-do experience in Argentina. Wineries are usually close to each other in each sub-region which makes it extremely easy (and fun!) to visit a few of them in one day by bike: this is an original and entertaining way to discover Mendoza and its world-famous wine estates.
On this particular tour, you will explore Mendoza’s wine country on two wheels to take in the breathtaking landscapes, while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
After breakfast, we bike on dedicated bike paths at Colonial Chacras de Coria. Then, bikes in the trailer for a short drive to the Lujan de Cuyo wine district, where we continue riding among vineyards, to Susana Balbo Wines. This renowned family project, created by Susana Balbo herself, is dedicated to the creation of stylish wines. The winery offers the opportunity to discover Argentina’s typical varietals through themed wine tastings that focus on enhancing each of the wines' potential.
Today's wine experience continues at Terrazas de los Andes: the winery is located in the heart of Perdriel and at the foot of the impressive Andes mountain range. Take a journey through the five senses at Terrazas de los Andres House, their exclusive restaurant where you will enjoy traditional Argentinian cuisine paired with Terrazas' finest wines. The food experience finds inspiration in the Mendoza region's rich gastronomy. Made with fresh and locally-sourced ingredients, the cuisine is filled with aromas, textures, and flavors that perfectly complement their wines.
