Through small and picturesque roads, we invite you to discover two Normandy’s specialties: Cider and Calvados.

The cider route is a loop of 40 kilometers. Don’t ask where it starts and where it ends, there is no rules! Just embark on this trip with your private car and driver and let the journey begins!

The cider route brings together 20 producers, on the road. You can recognize them by the panels “cru de Cambremer”… At this stage, the question is : what is Cru de Cambremer ?

Easy… It’s an AOP (protected designation of Origin) from the Pays d’Auge. It’s your guarantee of quality! Since every wine is different from a cellar to another, here Ciders and Calvados are each time unique.. Just ask for a taste, sure you are going to like it! A lot of other Norman specialties are awaiting you : cheese, apple juice, calvados cream, jams, liquors, honey… You wont’ be able to resist to all these Normandy’s delicacies!

More than simple visits and tastings, it’s the bucolic landscape that makes this day different! Here, no large fields but a multitude of meadows and orchards traversed by peaceful herds of cows and horses and some of the most beautiful villages of France… A real postcard of Normandy with its castles, typical mansions, half timbered houses.

Cambremer can be you first stop on the road, it’s a typical village with authentic architecture. Take time to visit the remarkable gardens of the Pays d’Auge, nearby the medieval castle of Crevecoeur en Auge. Why not to reach Beuvron en Auge for lunch (with sup.) The hamlet is unmissable and wonderfully preserved. It has been classified by an official French association as one of the most beautiful villages of France… You will be amazed by it restored halls, the 15th century manor house and the Saint Martin church. Before to finish your trip, last stop can be Bonnebosq; Nestled between two hills around the Dorette river, it’s nothing else than the definition of charm and authenticity…
