Here, you will learn how to prepare Sicilian bread and pizza (sfincione) with traditional ingredients like pecorino cheese, olive oil and sardines. For lunch, pizza and hot bread with olive oil and oregano will be served. In the afternoon, you will go on an archaeological walk with our local tour guide through the countryside and its magnificent nature. On this walk, you will visit the largest and oldest Tholos Tomb in Sicily (300 B.C.). This whole area is connected with the myth of Daedalus and Icarus as well as the Minotaur labyrinth. Our guide will then take you to a bakery to taste biscuits and homemade cookies. Taste home made wine at private house and then, visit a shepherd’s house to taste soft pecorino cheese and ricotta cheese, fresh and still warm.
