After arriving to this 18th-century villa, you will be greeted by staff and don an apron to begin your class.
Cooking Class in Lucca, Tuscany Program
Chef Gianluca begins with an introduction to the basics of Italian cuisine, whereupon the hands-on portion of your cooking course begins. Participants will create a 4-course meal alongside your professional chef, including an appetizer, pasta, fish, or meat main dish and a scrumptious dessert. You will have fun particularly as you learn to prepare homemade pasta, including kneading the dough and using a pasta machine! Chef Gianluca makes the class interesting by pointing out tricks of the Tuscan kitchen and describing typical ingredients and methods of Tuscan cooking.
The lesson lasts approximately 3 hours, and upon completion guests can make themselves comfortable either on the beautiful outdoor terrace (weather permitting) or in the Tuscan-style dining room. Participants will be served the 4-course meal they have prepared, accompanied by wonderful local wine and water. About Chef Gianluca Cooking Instructor
Chef Gianluca was born in Italy, and has been working both within Italy and internationally since turning 21. His skill has enable him to work exclusively in prestigious restaurants with master chefs. This professional chef has been teaching Italian cuisine for over a decade, both at his cooking school and abroad as a guest speaker and teacher. He has also been awarded numerous times for his skills.
