The culinary lesson begins with a walk through the farm's extensive vegetable gardens to collect the seasonal vegetables that will be used in your half-day cooking class. Get to know the delicious smells and tastes of the local produce before heading into the kitchen to prepare the wonderful local dishes.
Next, you will head to the farm's casual restaurant where you will meet the English-speaking chef, who will share their knowledge of this bountiful land as you prepare your meal together. Following your welcoming appetizer, the culinary experience will begin when you don your apron, and start kneading the dough for homemade pasta.
Watch in amazement as this dough takes form, and under the guidance of your expert chef, you'll transform the dough into pasta for your seated meal following the cooking course. Your chef will guide you through the creation of a typical farm lunch, beginning with homemade pasta and accompanying sauce, second course (meat or fish dish as per your preference), and dessert.
Now comes the highlight of your cooking lesson: you'll be seated and can enjoy the meal you've created during your cooking class accompanied by delicious local wine and water. Your culinary foray into the traditional cuisine of southern Italy will conclude with a wonderful sample of one of the farm's famous liquors.
