Activities

To Combine the Know-how of the Vine-growers

Champagne Dom Caudron has its origins in Passy-Grigny, a village in the Marne Valley, where a famous abbot, Aimé Caudron, had a visionary and promising idea... In 1929, he brought together the vine-growers of the village to exploit, transform and live the fruit of their shared passion: The Meunier grape.

Champagne DOM CAUDRON gives you the chance to go behind the scenes and learn how Champagne is made. From Passy-Grigny vine growers’ first press to the current modern vat house, this visit invites novices and experts alike into the prestigious universe of Champagne.

The wine growers of Champagne Dom Caudron practice reasoned viticulture. By combining their grapes, 90% of which come from the village of Passy-Grigny, as well as from neighboring villages, Champagne Dom Caudron produces high-quality champagnes, representative of a unique terroir.
