Rocca di Frassinello
A small farm on a Maremma hill is where Rocca di Frassinello was born. Imagine a wide parvis kissed by the sun, where you will make your first toast together, surrounded by green in all its shades. From the wide parvis you can appreciate a breathtaking view of the hill, extending from Marina di Grosseto to the Reserve of L'Uccellina: kilometres of vineyard rows as far as the eye can see.
A dream come true thanks to the Master Renzo Piano, who rebuilts spaces by placing what's most important at their centre: in this case, the barrique room, the key of the winery. Stepping inside of it will be like entering into a church: at its centre, a ray of light; behind the scenes, 2500 barriques.
Rocca di Frassinello is a winery inside a valley -the fresh sea breeze from Castiglione della Pescaia and Grosseto makes the weather temperate in winter too. With its roots in the land where the Etruscan necropolis of San Germano rises, Rocca di Frassinello is the secrets' keeper of the ones that, eight centuries before Christ, already grew vines.
For your Tuscan adventure you have a wide range of choices: the coast, to see the precious beaches and the clear waters of the Tuscan Archipelago, or the inland, where Siena, Florence and beautiful small Medieval villages are waiting for you to show you their beauty.
