Join Us on a Virtual Wine Road Trip Through the Bordeaux Vineyards and Beyond

Come along with us as we take a virtual wine tour of the Bordeaux wine region and beyond.

With the current Covid-19 outbreak we can’t travel as freely, but here at Wine Paths we want to bring wine experiences to you at home, from around the world, with our exclusive virtual wine road trip, starting with the Bordeaux wine region. You can dream now, plan and travel later!

With the help of our expert owners, sommeliers and châteaux teams we will take you on a tasting tour of the famed wine region from their prestigious châteaux, streamed via the Wine Paths Facebook page.

Our fabulous virtual wine experiences will include a tour of the château, taking in the outdoor grounds and, of course - the cellar, followed by a specially themed wine tasting. The experience will last one hour in total.

Of course, we suggest you purchase the wine which will be used in the tasting beforehand, so you can partake in the tasting from home. Wine Paths can assist with the purchase of each wine, either from the châteaux or from an online wine merchant.

The knowledgeable hosts will be answering all questions from the audience live during the streaming, meaning the audience can post their thoughts and questions as they sip along.

The first live wine tasting session was held on Thursday 14th May at 11am (ET). The first stop on our virtual wine tour was at Château Malartic-Lagravière in the Pessac Léognan appellation.

This first experience was a favorite for red wine aficionados.

Here, the owner Severine Bonnie hosted a virtual version of our Discovering Grape Varieties tasting experience, where the take audience was taken through the differences and similarities between the red wine at Malartic and that at their wine estate Bodega DiamAndes in Argentina.

It didn't stop here!

Our virtual wine tours continue weekly at 11am (ET), 5pm (Paris) on a Thursday, hosted on the Wine Paths Facebook page, with live visits from France, Italy and other countries across the world of wine & spirits.
