THE EXPERIENCE :
The Legacy Private Experience begins at the Château with a brief history of Santenay and Château de la Crée founded in 1431 by Nicolas Rolin, Chancelor to Phillipe le Bon, Duke of Burgundy. Following our captivating discussion, we head to our Monopoly vineyard, Santenay - Clos du Château. The vineyard is planted in both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with a total of 1.5 hectares, or 3.7 acres.With a fabulous scenery as a backdrop the conversation steers to Burgundy classification, the influence of terroir with a geological focus, geography, and aspect. Our topic dives into the appellation of Santenay, Château de la Crée vineyards, and of course, viticulture.Finally, the Legacy Experience takes us to our stunning 15th century vaulted cellar, where we savor and enjoy a lovely wine tasting of a selection of six Château de la Crée wines, led by one of our insightful experts.

Before or after your experience...Enjoy your lunch break with the Picnic de la Crée. Make the most of the beauty and peace of our Clos. With friends and family, a relaxing and cheerful time is waiting for you. You will find in your basket a seasonal cold main, Burgundy cheese, a desert and still water (330ml).Ingredients are seasonal, fresh and local. Check our list of wines to buy by the bottle, (half bottles also available) to match your food.A Junior picnic is also available, for our guests up to 12-year-old.
