The 140 hectares of vines are planted at 430 metres of altitude, in the heart of one of the largest domains in the Coteaux d’Aix en Provence.

In addition to the vines dedicated to the production of rosés and the exceptional terroir of 10 hectares set aside for the production of the Villa Baulieu range, other cultures cohabit with the vines: almonds, truffles and forest plantations.

The site, overlooking the Durance valley, the Silvacane Abbey and the town of Roque d’Anthéron, provides a very diverse terroir with a variety of exposures for the slopes. Baulieu is composed of a volcanic section backed up against clayey-calcareous soils.
