This morning we will have a yacht* waiting for you and you will cruise directly to the island of St Honorat where your guide awaits.
There, you will enjoy a VIP wine tasting in the vineyard under the shade of the centenary olive trees. The wines here are made by the monks that live on the island and are only found in the region due to the small quantities produced. Enjoy a little stroll on this small but fascinating island and discover the story of St Honorat.
From here you will cruise all the way to St Tropez, passing the beautiful Esterel coast line, sipping a cool glass of wine from the previous wine tasting as you go!
Upon arrival in the area of St Tropez, head to Pampelonne Beach and enjoy lunch at one of the famous beach clubs after which you can spend some time on the beach, or perhaps get back on board your yacht and discover some of the coastline around St Tropez before stopping in the Port to do some shopping.
St Tropez was a military stronghold and an unassuming fishing village until the beginning of the 20th century. It was the first town on this coast to be liberated during World War II. After the war, it became an internationally known seaside resort, renowned principally because of the influx of artists of the French New Wave in cinema and the yé-yé movement in music. With the arrival of Brigitte Bardot in the 6O's the myth was installed for good. It later became a resort for the European and American jetsetand a goal for tourists in search of a little Provençal authenticity and an occasional celebrity sighting.
Enjoy a stroll in Saint Tropez and visit the Museum of L' Annonciade and the Citadel if you have time.
Saint-Tropez offers great shopping with the greatest international brands, especially when it comes to summer fashion. The main luxury fashion companies have established themselves, one after the other. You will find fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana and Dior. Beachfront is where the main shopping scene is located; you will find small stores dotting the alleys around the harbour and chic boutiques on the beach. If you fancy high-end shopping, walk to Rue Gambetta for the designer names as well as local brands such as Rondini and their famous sandals, a must!. Another great shopping street is Rue du General Allard that runs west from the port, a winding streets in the old town. This is where you will find a good mix of old and new, top designers and ordinary things.
At the end of the afternoon, return to your boat and cruise back to the Riviera and your hotel.
