Among peaceful gardens, at the heart of the Route des Châteaux, Cordeillan-Bages, member of Relais & Châteaux, is a destination to awaken the senses. In a bright and spacious interior inspired from comfort and elegance, and dotted by contemporary masterworks, the gastronomic restaurant opens unto the vineyard and is world-renowned for its inventive dialogue between savory cuisine and fine wines.
Starting 2017, the restaurant is overseen by chef Julien Lefebvre. Taking pride in the terroir, Julien Lefebvre draws his inspiration from respect of the produce in a quest for refined flavours. A Lisieux native, he trained in Paris alongside Frédéric Anton at Le Pré Catelan***, before working with Mathieu Pacaud at Histoires**, Hexagone* and Le Divellec* as Executive Chef.
The house wine list of 1,500 references, rated one of the “Top 18 Best Wine Lists of 2017 in France”, in the Starred Restaurants and Palace category, enhances the contemporary cuisine.
The restaurant is member of Les Grandes Tables du Monde.
