Bordeaux Wine Festival

Organized every 2 years, the Bordeaux Wine Festival is an international event open to the public and allows the visitor to discover the wines that represent the region. For its 20th anniversary, the 2018 edition promises to be spectacular.

The 2-kilometer long wine route runs along the banks of the Garonne between the river and the 18th century buildings. The pavilions feature 80 appellations from Bordeaux and the Aquitaine region, as well as some of the great names of Bordeaux. Your Tasting Pass will allow you to sample a selection of different wines in the same location – the 8 ‘appellation’ pavilions, as well as the ‘Vintage Pavilions’.

In 2018, the event will welcome the Tall Ship Regatta that will stop in Bordeaux after leaving Dublin and Liverpool. On June 14th, the arrival of some thirty ships in Bordeaux, with their sails, flags and banners will be a magnificent display paying tribute to Bordeaux Fête le Vin stretching out along the riverfront.

Each evening the sky will light up during a spectacular sound and light show showcasing the 18th century buildings along the river.

Do not miss this unique opportunity to explore Bordeaux Wines in a very special atmosphere.
