10.00 am: Guided tour of Château de Chenonceau, "the ladies castle". The unique architecture of this castle makes it one of the most exquisite ones in the Loire Valley, and its magnificent Renaissance gardens make it even more unforgettable. It is known as "the ladies castle" because it is related to important French women (Diane de Poitiers, Catherine de Medici, among others).
11.30 am: Winery tour, wine tasting and lunch at Les Caves Duhard. The Loire Valley Wine Experience: Sensorial visit and Vintage’s Odyssey followed by a commented wine tasting with a sommelier. Lunch with drinks included: charcuterie, French cheeses and dessert. An exceptional moment!
2.30 pm: Guided tour of Château de Chambord. In the middle of a forest, Chambord was the first Loire Valley castle listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Ordered in 1519 by King Francois I, with 426 rooms, 77 staircases and 282 fireplaces, it is the largest château in the region. Leonardo da Vinci is the creator of its double helix staircase.
Transfer back to the Tours or Saint Pierre des Corps train stations, or your hotel (located between the cities of Tours and Blois).
