The greatest way to learn about harvest is to experience it out among the sea of 200,000 vines in Clos Marey-Monge. For three hours, our team will put you to work as you learn many of the processes involved in taking the grape from terroir to cellar, bottle to glass. Over the course of this guided experience, you will observe the various members of our harvest team hard at work and become trained in our biodynamic vineyard operations. From learning about determining fruit maturity, hand-harvesting and sorting to our signature vinification, blending, aging and bottling techniques, the Harvest Experience is a breath of fresh air in Burgundy – unique in every sense. As a special treat, we will even allow you to taste the freshly squeezed, very sweet juice straight from the vat, as well as sample each of the separate five terroirs of Clos Marey-Monge before they go to make the final blend. To celebrate this special day in the sun, a T-shirt will be awarded to every participant, a souvenir to cherish until your next Harvest Experience.
Our Vendanges Experience offers the opportunity to sample a variety of wines that are evolving through the vinification process directly from the vats and barrels in the cuverie. You will also have the chance to taste a number of finished wines and vintages throughout the day.
