At Château de Berne, the domain is sheltered by 500 hectares of forest. The cool nights in the Haut- Var provide optimum conditions for the grapes to ripen slowly. While the rosé crop takes longer to reach maturity, it produces well-structured wines with a clear finish, which are particularly well-suited to accompanying contemporary cuisine.
Take a sensorial path which starts in the cellar with a technical approach to the making of a rosé wine. Then its mysteries will be unveiled through fun workshops during which you will discover the different shades and aromatic essences linked to rosé wines. The session will end with a tasting of 3 or 4 of Château de Berne’s wines: apple, peach, pineapple, berries are some of the aromatic discoveries you will experience. You will have to train your nose and taste buds a little harder!
