The 'Weekend des Grands Crus' will take place in Bordeaux on June 14th to 17th - an exclusive opportunity for all French wine lovers to discover some of the region's top properties and access some unique locations.
We propose a 3-day itinerary:
Friday, June 15
Arrive in Bordeaux and transfer to your 5* hotel located in the heart of the historic centre of Bordeaux.
Depending on the time of arrival, we suggest a walking tour to explore Bordeaux during a walking tour of the UNESCO-listed city which has undergone a major renovation program. The impressive 18th century architecture and ultra-modern infrastructures create a unique cityscape. Stop at an iconic wine boutique in the heart of the historic town for a comparative tasting as an Introduction to Bordeaux Grand Cru wines.
In the evening, we offer you the unique opportunity to take part in the exclusive and prestigious 'Fete de la Fleur'. Oganized each year by the 'Commanderie du Bontemps', this is a keynote event for wine lovers from all corners of the world, who spend a highly prestigious evening sharing their passion for great Medoc and Graves, Sauternes and Barsac wines. Definitely one of the most exclusive events in the Bordeaux region.
Saturday, June 16
Transfer to the Grand Tasting where over 110 château owners and their representatives will be delighted to tell you all you wish to know about their wines and have you taste their 2014 vintage + 1 other vintage. Nowhere in the world will you have the opportunity to see this number of great wine producers in one place!
In the evening, take part in an exclusive Grand Cru dinner and share your emotions with these Grand Cru owners in one of their châteaux. A different wine will be served with each course in order to show the diversity of Bordeaux Grands Crus.
Sunday, June 17
Choose between a selection of excursions that include a full-day exploring the wine regions that surround Bordeaux with a special VIP welcome as well as an exclusive lunch; or visit La Cité du Vin, France's first wine museum dedicated to wine producing countries the world over; or take part in an amateur golf tournament playing against some of the region's winery owners...
At the end of the day transfer to Bordeaux Airport or Train Station or extend your trip to continue your discovery of the beautiful Bordeaux region!
