Bespoke wine tasting at Château de la Crée in Burgundy, France

Share our passion for Burgundy and its wine

Take a break from the outside world, and bring along friends and family to discover the pleasant indulgences of "Life at the Château".

Theme : Visits & Tastings Duration : From 1 to 3 hours Groups : Yes

The experience starts with the history of Château de la Crée founded in 1431 By Nicolas Rolin, (Chancelor of Philippe le Bon, Duc de Bourgogne), and the history of Santenay.

We then move to our monopoly vineyard, Santenay - Clos du Château (3.7 acres), planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. What a great spot to talk about Burgundy classification, the influence of terroir with a focus on geology, geography and aspect. You will learn more about the appellation of Santenay, Château de la Cree vineyards and of course viticulture.

At last it is time to go down into our 15th century vaulted cellar to enjoy six of our Domaine wines during a wine tasting run by one of our wine experts.
